Beaux Arbres is a heritage Irish immigrant farm circa 1840 in western Quebec - the Pontiac. I make my baskets out of natural materials and found materials. Often using willow, dogwood, bark, wild vines, leaves and pine needles, I let the materials dictate the form. I can and do make baskets out of any material that I can bend - wire, pipe cleaners, paper yarn, rope.
From time to time I teach workshops to children and adults. I prefer to work in the open air, enjoying the quiet, the songbirds, and the gardens at Beaux Arbres.
