With the cancellation of the regular Studio Tour dates in 2020, Kathy welcomes you any time at her log studio near Eganville, by appointment for a one on one visit. She also invites you to view her work online at her website www.kmhaycock.com and on her Facebook page Kathy M Haycock Artist.
Currently, and as long as covid restrictions remain in effect, her exciting promotion "Isolate with Art" offers discounts of 10% to 25% on all artwork and art gifts. This even includes commissions for original paintings. She welcomes phone and internet orders with doorstep pickup or shipping items to your home....as well as all studio visits by appointment which are limited to one person/single group at a time.
Her award winning oil paintings celebrate the wilderness landscape: wild, free, colourful and adventurous. She travels the wilderness painting new landscapes which she loves to share with you on canvas: the seasons of Algonquin and nearby Lake Clear, coastal Newfoundland, Arizona desertland and the breathtaking northern beauty of Yukon and Nunavut. Browse through her latest work – original oils, reproductions on canvas and paper, art cards and unique artistic gifts.
Kathy is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), Artists for Conservation (AFC), the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA) and a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society in recognition of her artistic interpretation and support of Canada’s remote northern wilderness.
She is of course one of the three Wild Women Wilderness Artists, along with fellow Studio Tour members Joyce Burkholder and Linda Sorensen.
Come by to see her latest artwork and learn more about recent painting adventures near and far, what inspires her, and her skilled approach to plein-air painting all over North America. There's always lots new here and with a special twist for you to enjoy.
Please call ahead off season. When restrictions abate Kathy looks forward to more unrestricted visits and more in person conversations with visitors, sharing your stories and her new artwork, travel adventures, and plein air painting tips. She will also continue to welcome phone and internet sales on her website as this seems to be well received and a thing of the future.
