Jamie and Linda Turnbull moved to the beautiful Madawaska Valley in the mid 70's after Jamie finished his degree in Design Arts at Georgian College, specializing in Clay and Ceramics. They built their studio and opened White Duck Pottery in 1978. Over the years they have participated in many shows and received different design awards. They offer a full range of decorative ware for everyday use as well as unique one-of-a-kind pieces. A number of decorating techniques and glazes are used. Linda also custom makes jewellery for special occasions in silver, gold and beaded. Hours May 24 - Thanksgiving Daily 11-5 Winter hours phone ahead . |
