While working as a commercial photographer in Toronto in the 80’s I started to photograph architectural details from buildings. I became inspired by these photos an tried my hand at sculpting. I was pleased with my early results and I continued to explore sculpting and mould making on my own. What started as a hobby soon became a full-time business for me. Over the years I have taken courses on mould making at Sculpture Supply and I have studied sculpture at Sheridan College.

I have shown and sold my work at Fair November in Guelph, the One of a Kind show in Toronto, Burlington Art in the Park, Originals in Ottawa, Festival of Friends in Hamilton, Balls Falls in Vineland, Signatures in Toronto, Sugar Plum Fair at Casa Loma in Toronto, Celtic Show in Goderich, and I also sell my work from my own studio workshop year round in Rideau Lakes. I have won awards for best product and best booth display at various shows.

I work full-time all year round sculpting and mould making and I employ my oldest son and my retired parents to help me produce and sell my work. I’m passionate about history and heritage buildings and I enjoy educating the public about historical stonework that surrounds them everyday but sometimes aren't aware of.

I have been commissioned by the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa to reproduce decorative stone work to be sold in the Parliament gift shop.

I have been featured on CTV’s Regional Contact and also in the Ottawa Citizen the Kingston Whig Standard and Ottawa at Home magazine.
