With 35 years of pottery making experience, I strive to fuse together ancient traditions and techniques with my contemporary design sensibilities in the creation of a wide range of Soda Fired functional pottery and one-of-a-kind art pieces.
The beautiful, seasonally-diverse environment that surrounds Hill Pottery studio influences the forms and decoration of my pottery. I do not attempt to replicate nature but to evoke the essence of it. The marks of the maker are enhanced by the varied surfaces of the Soda Firing which insure each pottery piece is unique.
Hill Pottery and Hillside Paintings and Pottery are located near the village of Wilno, Ontario Canada.
